Former Campbell County District Judge Timothy Nolan has pleaded guilty to numerous felony charges, including human trafficking of adults, promoting human trafficking of minors and unlawful transaction with minors.
As part of his plea agreement with prosecutors from Attorney General Andy Beshear’s Special Prosecutions Division, Nolan pleaded guilty to 21 counts against 19 victims and prosecutors’ recommended sentences totaling 20 years in prison.
Nolan, 71, of California, Ky., a former local school board member, was originally charged in a criminal complaint by the Campbell County Police Department for crimes that occurred between 2010 and 2017. That complaint alleged that Nolan committed human trafficking with a minor by subjecting a child under age 18 to engaging in commercial sexual activity.
He was later indicted on 28 felony counts and two misdemeanor counts.
“The punishment in this case does not undo the trauma inflicted on the victims, but it brings closure and some justice,” Beshear said. “I want to thank the Campbell County Police Department and our special prosecutions team for working this case.”
As part of his plea agreement, Nolan will pay a total of $110,000, a large portion of which will go into the Human Trafficking Victims Fund established by Kentucky lawmakers in 2013.
Nolan is subject to lifetime sex offender registration.

According to an Assistant Attorney General: “The defendant used money, drugs, housing, threats to call the probation office and violent acts as means to coerce, deceive and force these women to engage in commercial sexual activity for months and sometimes years,”
He faced over 100 years in jail, several victims were minors.

Here we learn he was a judge in the 70's and 80's. There were 22 victims charged originally with 8 minors. He claimed it was all a political vendetta.

He wouldn’t have plead guilty if it was just ‘a vendetta’. He would have retired and dropped out of politics against a vendetta. A judge going to the pen is a death sentence. Pedos don’t do well either. He knows that. He plead guilty because he had to. His ‘clients’ are likely powerful people that want him to stay silent: no trial.

If he does make it to jail, and not house arrest, these legal criminals get to have a separate wing in jail to keep them safe.
