God is not the problem organized religion is the death of us all. I left the church a long time ago when the Vatican was protecting their scum.

There is a role for churches IMO, but when they become institutionalized they tend to lose sight of what they’re really there for.

I agree with you there. To me it is blasphemous to put such people in a position between people and God. How we even came to think that that is a good thing is beyond me. If people just read their bibles and modeled themselves upon Jesus the world would be a much better place. No need to worship a Pope that protects Pedophiles at the expense of innocent children. Jesus and God would not approve. Same goes for any religion.
