Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Well, we also have to put to death anyone that commits adultery if we go by the old testament. There is going to be a lot of blood in the streets if we decided to follow those old testament rules. Of course, I prefer to just stick to the words of Jesus rather than the OT. Although, I do have to admit that I'm willing to impose the death penalty for pedophilia (I'm not the best Christian, I admit -- turning the other cheek is sometimes really hard for me). I don't feel comfortable imposing the death penalty for people who are gay, though. If it is between consenting adults, that is between them and God. They might face punishment from it, but in cases where the sin is hurting the participating adults -- and not other people -- I'd prefer to let God make the call on that one. I've committed some sins of my own (I had sex before marriage -- fornication), so I'm not really qualified to impose the death penalty on people who have committed other consensual sexual sins. I kind of have to recuse myself on that issue.
Ceremonial law is different from the moral law, this would be under the moral law but nations enforce it different ways, or don't, it should be enforced in some way though, it used to be. Moral law is ten commandments and their manifestations, ceremonial is sacrifices, feasts, etc. Gotta run.

Simple solution:

Maybe we can bring some of them old ancient temples back to life and make the blood flow.
Get a grip.

Ceremonial law, so only the first sentence applies anymore. Rest is up to the laws of the land.
