Wikipedia (yes, I know, not very trustworthy source) says that: "Helnwein was offered a chair by the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg in 1982. When his demand to admit also children to study at the university was rejected, he declined."
Doesn't that seem odd? You wouldn't take an academic post because they wouldn't let children study at a UNIVERSITY? WTF?
