Muriatic acid will not dissolve a body. Neither will chlorine or whatever happens when you mix them. Go watch the mythbusters episode testing the Breaking Bad acid bath scene.
Both chemicals are used to maintain commercial pools. That is a big frigging pool and having one or two 55 gallon drums of the chemical would not be unusual because a pool that size does consume chemicals. Especially there.
