According to the preliminary investigative report, there was a laptop in the Main Room and two more in the Bedroom Suite - one being the disassembled laptop missing its hard drive. There was another in the adjoining room. This makes four laptops in total at the hotel. The information in OP's link does not seem to specify that the computer was obtained from the hotel - couldn't it have been from his residence?
