For me, it’s so frustrating, because my family never understands me when talking about the abuse I suffered as a child, and for people who have no connection or history with it, THIS is how people perceive victims, and so much of it is ass backwards.
His behavior is subtle brainwashing for victims and for the masses. You tell enough people how victims act, well victims are going to start acting like that.
I’m so sick of the narrative that men never speak up about their abuse because of embarrassment, homophobia, etc. Well if real victims were given more screen time, then we could probably brainwash them into speaking out about their abuse.
Monkey see, monkey do. And these f’ing muppets are role modeling all the wrong behaviors.
