Woo hoo! Get to give this a "Swamp Takedown" flair. Wish we could connect this guy to anyone big, but the fact he was arrested and sentenced so long after the crime tells me we are making some progress with the corrupt justice system.
The fact that they reopenned his case six years after the fact, tried and convicted him though crimes were committed in another country points to signs of a turnaround in the judicial system, as I stated in my flair comment.
You should try to research the facts before you make a claim like a turnaround in the judicial system.

They reopened this case? What case? There was no US case on him 6 years ago. In 2011 Haiti arrested him BUT NOT FOR child exploitation. The US case on him started in 2015 as I shall detail below.
First, let's take a look at your claims that something has changed in 'the swamp."
It's not unusual to arrest someone for child exploitation overseas. Going to another country to have sex with kids has been illegal since 2002. Expanded federal authority to pursue them overseas has been law since 2003. Extraditing Americans back to the US for their trials is common.
6 years? If you think the case was reopened in 2017, you are incorrect.
The US government's case started in 2015 when a tip came into HSI on their tip line. HSI is the investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security
The case was opened in April 2015 when a tip came into HSI Miami. He was arrested in February 2017, the conviction in November 2017.
Between the original tip and his arrest, they built a case by locating and interviewing witness, gettting supoenas for his travel records, his financial records and his facebook page. With HSI, multiple teams
worked on this investigation

The flair isn't justified.
