I've been made not to believe anybody. Until she names people, accuses people, and files a lawsuit against someone, I don't care.

I'm starting to believe that #metoo, and #timesup are an experiment on social influence, and actors are being actors, playing a role to help shape public opinion. Constantly bombarding people with small tales of abuse (a subject people don't ask for more details about) until we become so used to it, that sexual abuse becomes normal. Then when someone really is sexually abused, it's easier to sweep under the rug because the public is already accustomed to stories of abuse.

I know it's a dark way of looking at things, but the last year has shown me that it's easy to get actors to play any role, on or off camera. Start proceedings to put the offender in jail. I'm not giving you pity points so that you can stay relevant with the latest trending topic.

This is precisely what will enable these crimes. She probably can't file a lawsuit anymore due to the statute of limitations.

Today, I overheard an old man (age 75-80?) reading a text from his mobile to his wife. I was stunned and could hardly believe it.

It was a text about an actress who had been sexually abused and now spoken up - Twitter was mentioned, but since he was already in mid-text when I heard him, I didn't catch the name.

His wife patiently listened. It was very touching.

I looked at Bella Thornes instagram and the responses, and I got the impression that she - like other celebrities who have spoken up, are an inspiration to other survivors.

The same applies to the #metoo campaign. It's not only about some Hollywood celebs, but many women - and, to a lesser extent, some men - suddenly started talking about harrassment.

So I don't care whether there's been something orchestrated behind the scenes, as long as it helps survivors, and instigates ordinary folks to talk about these issues.

What if this " Me Too " is to draw your eyes and ears from Hollywood's Pedophilles?

I don't know what the intention is or was. I can see that it backfired. I observe how pple IRL react, and I've never seen so many newspaper articles at least hinting at a pedophilia problem in Hollywood. It makes it much easier now to talk about pedophilia in Hollywood IRL as well as on the internet.

Please have some empathy for people, lack of empathy is what's wrong with the world.

Very well could be true, however by how fucked up most of these actors and "celebrities" are I'm sure they have almost all been sexually abused.

Hey guy these elites can make anyone stay quiet. Money makes people shut up and disappear.

In my opinion they are trying to get the public to the point where normal people are okay with people going outside of the law. None of these women have gone to the police. Sexual assault or abuse is a crime and can be punished, yet even now as all of this awareness has come out nothing has been done about it.

Not one of them have gone to a police or filed a suit. Why is that?

I guess you have checked out just how many people reported Jimmy Savile to the police.

Exactly.

Have you seen conviction rates for such things? From personal experience my family did all the right things but really wish we'd never bothered. We're the ones who've paid the price and what a high price it's been. The legal system enables and protects these people. Don't ever think it's on the side of victims because it's not. Our situation will be sorted outside of the law. I just wish for my family's sake I'd never involved them in the first place. Utter scum.
