The guards aren't even supposed to know who has HIV/AIDS. If they get contaminated with body fluids they are treated with post-exposure prophylactic HIV meds just in case. Some prisons have hospice type areas for old AIDS patients who are really sick or dying. Working in prisons is dangerous for more than one reason.
