That's nonsense which has been taught by organized patriarchal religions in order to CONTROL one of the strongest forces in nature -- normal human sexuality.

One of the most significant efforts of organized patriarchal religion is to CONTROL not only individual sexuality, but to create a sexual norm throughout all of society. The banning of masturbation. What did that teach members and their children? Only that sexual pleasure can only be honorable if carried out with someone of the opposite sex and within marriage.

Let's also reflect on marriage and how it came about: It was the debasement of women in societies which forced females into marriages in order to secure shelter, food, clothing and other necessities of life. Only the oppression of women in all societies through violence forced women into marriages which even still today remain "unequal." Also recall that it was male supremacist religions which encouraged and instructed males to "beat their wives" and which is the very basis of domestic violence.

Further -- IF our mission here is to truly protect children then we have to realize that the oppression of women - who are appointed by nature as the natural guardians of children -- leave all children vulnerable to sexual abuse by males.
