Don't know about any Pope connection, but the story concerning the previous Pope - Ratzinger, or, his brother, anyway - and sex abuse got buried pretty quickly.
Seems like Msgr. Georg Ratzinger directed a choir in Germany for decades.
Over a couple of hundred boys have come forward saying they were abused when members of the group.
Minimal coverage given to the story, just like Franklin Cover-up.
