...I get it, this is small potatos to most of you, but likely this is just one small tentacle of the much-larger beast...And sometimes it's the loosest of ends that can hang the worst of them. They're the ones who have the most to loose and can't afford not making a deal.

Government officials? To whom are they trafficking? Not the ordinary person in the street.

There seems to be a trafficking route between Egypt and Greece for refugees / migrants from Syria and Iraq (possibly other countries as well). So it could be trafficking from Egypt. Not sure, though.
Could also be trafficking of sex slaves or a combination of both.
