Last, Friday, a batch of 1,800 emails from Anthony Weiner's laptop (husband of Clinton aide Huma Abedin) were released on request of Judicial Watch.

(You'll find a link to these emails in a searchable format here (see sticky on front page): https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/2314890))

There were 5 classified emails on Weiner's laptop that he wasn't allowed allowed to read, let alone store, since he didn't have the neccessary security clearance.

Judicial Watch said on Friday that a criminal investigation must be conducted. How did Weiner get access to these emails?

President Trump demanded that Huma Abedin should be locked up for the way she handled classified information.

From the linked article:

'Justice Department officials are taking a fresh look at Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she served as secretary of State, The Daily Beast has learned.

An ally of Attorney General Jeff Sessions who is familiar with the thinking at the Justice Department’s Washington headquarters described it as an effort to gather new details on how Clinton and her aides handled classified material.

Officials’ questions include how much classified information was sent over Clinton’s server; who put that information into an unclassified environment, and how; and which investigators knew about these matters and when.

The Sessions ally also said officials have questions about immunity agreements that Clinton aides may have made.'

A former senior DOJ official familiar with department leadership’s thinking said officials there are acutely aware of demands from President Donald Trump that they look into Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of State—and that they lock up her top aide, Huma Abedin.'

On the news this morning I saw that 2 Republicans have come out and demanded that Jeff Sessions step down. WTH? Maybe this is exactly why. I am going to look them up. They may be part of the Deep State.

Sessions' behavior as AG has actually made him look like quite the agent of the deep state. His general reluctance to pursue the suspect actions of his predecessors, and others in the justice department, his rabid eagerness to further the "War on Drugs" which itself is just a racket to enrich the deep state and cartels, and more.

This is suspect for sure. I find it very odd as well some of the things he does, and why Trump keeps him on when others are screaming for his demise.

Could this be a set up for sessions, not a bad one, but like Bannon leaving

Gives opposition false sense that their inside guys are doing their job

Yet gives Session to do what he has to do without having his hands tied

The Bannon and Trump story is getting interesting, I don't believe surface stories

Is Bannon opening himself up to inflitrate?

Set up someone or ones?

Was thinking working on team Trump, your hands would be tied to do certain stuff

Also easy to keep an eye on questionable people

I trying to remember this is a serious psych op going on . Psyching the enemy, to set things in place

Lots of resignations, retirements, and plane crashes

Don't forget turnovers also

Those that heeded the threat and have come out

Just one of many thoughts

I think it is very hard to know what is behind a lot of this right now. It could be a lot of Kabuki Theater and Just for Show. Possibly they are just trying to keep us entertained while some really important stuff is going down. They are always trying to keep us out of the loop.

You might be right, since I'm not sure what exactly 'having a fresh look' means.

It opens a lot of opportunities for Sessions, but I'm not sure whether he will really take them to thoroughly investigate the matter.

Aren't you sick of how the govt. and the politicians (all of them) and the press treat all of us. They are constantly playing games. We have to read and watch the news and then try to figure out what it all means. Kind of like a Game Show. Really Disgusting.

They are constantly playing games.

Yes, sigh. Hard to keep track and to figure out what really happens behind the scenes.

new4now ago

Maybe its not just us

Ever wonder who is behind the names in here? Lol

carmencita ago

Yeah, I know what you mean.

We have to just keep on keeping on

Old saying lol

This pressure from Republicans is why Sessions is floating this "look into her emails again" story. This is coming from Freedom Caucus Republicans trying to carry water for Trump and make the DOJ and Special Counsel look bad. It's all part of the attack on the rule of law to attempt to stop Robert Mueller's investigation.

(By the way, would be a corrupt abuse of power, to reopen a case because your boss was upset about something.)

Mrs_Ogynist01 ago

But to close a case, I'm sorry - a matter, because your boss met with the the subject's husband is a-okay!

Are_we_sure ago

except that was not the reason it was closed.

Also why Comey ignored DOJ rules and made his statement.

Whatever. But Weiner wasn't supposed to have access to these emails, a new investigation into how Huma and HRC handled classified info is justified.
