these are a brand of creepy that even i cannot get behind. i have no doubt there is something very very sinister going behind these paintings. what creeps me out the most (besides the dungeon & the one with the dagger) is the de-personalization of the figures in all paintings. de-personalization is used anytime someone wants to remove guilt from the equation. it also makes it easier to victimize someone if they are lacking a personality, lacking individuality. they are just nameless, faceless victims/bodies.
