Psychotherapists like Elizabeth Loftus of the 'False Memory Syndrome Foundation' support the notion that survivors who suffered from amnesia and later recalled the crimes, are either lying or have been influenced by their therapists. Some Forensic professors still today say there amnesia of traumatic incidents or DID don't exist.

It's a deep, deep rabbit hole.
