I'm sorry, are you doubting this? It was two detectives who originally CONFIRMED this. Future statements from their department only say that they cannot / will not comment on such.

Exactly my thoughts. If we see ourselves as conducting an investigation, we need to be looking for, and listening to, actual confirmed information, and NOT the kind of information that comes from anonymous sources on the internet. It just doesn't work that way folks.
