Relevance: The Awans are tied into the DNC. They had charge of the servers/emails. The leaking of those IS pizzagate. They were also suspiciously connected to Seth Rich in that an IT party was held just before his alleged murder took place.

Another HUGE breaking story! Worst fears realized and show just how scummy the former administration was. Turns out the Awans were using FORGED CREDENTIALS that could not have passed a legitimate background check. The assessment? That the clearances were pushed through. Here's the story. Federal law enforcement agents working the Imran Awan and Hina Alvi fraud probe said the couple, along with other members of the family, were never properly vetted for Congressional security clearances.

Instead the clearances, which provided the Awans access to dozens of Congressional Democrats computer networks and IT systems, were likely approved absent each individual background file getting “fully investigated.”

“I seriously doubt they could have passed a full background (check),” one FBI insider said. “These clearances were pushed through.”

A HUGE breaking story! From September 12th 2017! I think it turned out that the majority of security clearances are approved in absentia. I do agree though, that Awan had a strong motive for killing Seth Rich as he wanted to sell the intelligence that Seth wanted to share with Wikileaks.

Simply stated - Awan had the analytics to show there was a large data transfer inside the DNC. I think Awan was servicing both .Gov and DNC.org servers. He realized that a leak would unravel the entire sweater. Awan had motive to ensure Rich's demise. It also would elevate Awan within the Cabal.

You could very well be right.

I hope this is the toe in the door needed in the Rich investigation. Think OANN is working on it, but damn! They seem to be stonewalled and there has to be a reason for that.
