She did not kill her pimp. In fact she was living with her pimp. She killed a client who picked her up on the street. She did not say she killed him to escape this ring. She said she killed him in self defense. The cops say it was to rob him, because she then stole his wallet.

Brown has never denied her crime. She has said that she was forced into prostitution by a violent boyfriend. She believed the man who picked her up was reaching for his gun when she killed him.

“I shot him,” she said shortly after the crime. “I executed him.”

The guy reached under his bed and she shot him in the back of the head. Her claim was she thought he was reaching for a gun. Take her backstory out of it. That's not self defense in any way, in almost every court in the land that killing will be prosecuted as murder. Bring her backstory back into it. Did she try and escape? Or did she got back to her abuser and pimp? I don't know.....but these would critical questions.

She can genuinely be a victim of child trafficking and genuinely guilty of murdering her john. They are not exclusive.
