As I understand it, it's easy to get sued under British Law for Libel. UK papers are cautious about what's said on domestic issues. They are free to cover US news as harshly as they want. Our papers have the same liberty to criticize outside the US in a way they wouldn't back home.
It does seem to work out in the wash. The internet lets me see London papers as easily as Chicago's. But the rise of Fake Everything News has left me ...well puzzled. It's back to basics time with a fresh eye. What matters and whats real? We get to re-think it all.

Yes, I saw today on the news where they spent Big Bucks on covering up payments to accusers and the money was ours. Yes, Ours! They used our money to pay for their sexual indiscretions. About 1.5M. Put that in Your Pipes. I Want Their Names. The Names of the Accused. This Must Stop.
This is the problem. You can also imagine that many counties in Texas will protect the pedo swamp, since Bush has stocked the courts with sympathizers. This is true in many courts there, but not all. This has taken many decades to plan, so now it will take time to push them out. This is not an easy task. People are waking up though, that is for sure. I feel your pain. This is a horrible place, the farm. I hope there is some justice for them.

Yes. The good news is that I had a post I did a couple months ago, when a friend called me to let me know that there was good news in Illinois, they had gotten rid of the statute of limitations. Pedos Beware in Illinois. You no longer can breath easily that you can not be charged 20 or 30 yrs. later. This is what must happen in every state. Really I wonder if we could pass a law through Congress for a Federal Law on this. A Law to Protect Our Children.
Well, maybe things are changing. People are probably fed up with the pedo laws because of what happened with Dennis Hastert. That probably put the icing on the cake!
