New DIA Director Expects Intensified Demands for Intelligence
By Cheryl Pellerin
American Forces Press Service
WASHINGTON, Aug. 10, 2012 – The new director of the Defense Intelligence Agency is approaching his dream job with eyes wide open, valuing people over technology and expecting a future that holds more intense demands for intelligence.
Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn became DIA director July 24, as well as commander of the collocated joint functional component command for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance that is part of U.S. Strategic Command.
That was a direct quote from The Independent.
Who Is Michael Flynn - 19 Facts About Donald Trump's National ...

1 Dec 2017 - Retired Army general Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. Here's what you need to know about the former National Security Advisor.
The positions he held include National Security Adviser, who reports directly to the President as an advisor, and Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, which is one of the 17 members of the US Intelligence Community, alongside other major members like the NSA, CIA and the Intelligence Branch of the FBI.
So no, Flynn never answered to the NSA, as the Director of that agency was actually his counterpart during his time running the DIA. At that time, Flynn answered only to the President and the Director of National Intelligence.
Who fucking cares? If Russia thought it was so important that the American people get to know the real Hillary Clinton, they did our country a favor, and it can be the foundation of an alliance that crushes socialism.
But they didn't. There's no evidence linking the Russian state, or any Russian nationals, to WikiLeaks, the DNC leaks, or Podesta's emails (who even my grandmother could've hacked by following simple instructions)
All of that being said, no documented correspondence between Flynn and Russia broke the law. Flynn is being charged for lying about talking to them. Why he chose to do that, I'll never know, but the contact wasn't illegal, failing to disclose it to the FBI was.
The collusion witchhunt is a dead end, just like the party pushing it. Just like in the Civil War, Democrats find themselves on the wrong side of history.

You're confusing two different NSAs.
NSA the agency is the spy unit at Fort Meade Maryland.
NSA the person is the head of the National Security Council. He works in the White House and is a close advisor to the President.
Flynn worked AS the NSA, not AT the NSA.

You make me giggle.
What does Flynn know about fake nuclear weapons?
KnightsofHubris ago
You tell me.
Why does that make you giggle.
DataAnalystCERN ago
Well yes, it is true that nuclear weapons are a lie.
