CALLING ON @Gilderoy FOR YOUR INSIGHT: https://8ch.net/cbts/res/61621.html#61715

"Okay. Bear with me here. This is important regarding the POPE OF SATAN:

The pope focused on the line “lead us not into temptation,” recited at Catholic Masses around the world, offering the phrase “do not let us fall into temptation” as an alternative.

Removing that line gives support to the idea that God is not the father. Reason? The first sin. If God did not punish us for the

first sin, then who did? Who sent Adam and the human race out of Paradise and into a world that is difficult. The world is ruled by

Satan, but Satan has no dominion over us - not even to sin. Sin is a transgression against God, not a plot by Satan.

Okay. Bear with me here.

The Greek is clear. The phrase μὴ εἰσενέγκῃς ἡμᾶς εἰς πειρασμόν is similar to the following two phrases:

Genesis 3:23

The Pope is actually trying to dismantle the fundamental notion that God is the one in charge and is the one

sent us out Eden due to our temptation by Satan, the DECEIVER. Never forget that Satan is first and foremost a

deceiever. He has no power other than that. To say that Satan would be the one to lead us into temptation (πειρασμόν ) which in

Greek also means test/trial is actually false because Satan's power is itself a deception. The μὴ εἰσενέγκῃς ἡμᾶς εἰς πειρασμόν is similar

to the Latin referre ad senatum, which means to refer something to the Senate. In other words, the meaning is similar to the one expressed

in Genesis. God kicked us out of Eden. The prayer is prayer that the Kingdom of the Lord be ESTABLISHED and HIS WILL be fulfilled, and that

we do not get kicked out AGAIN like before. The POPE IS AN EVIL DECEIVER."

IF HAVE THOUGHTS ON THIS PART OF THE PROBLEM, PLEASE LET ME KNOW

The RCC keeps taking salvation back on the believer. Jesus said "It is done". Putting any works on us towards salvation, insults what Jesus went through for us. This is the problem with every religion outside of following Jesus, they keep wanting to make salvation about our works.

The Eucharist is blasphemy as it is a continual offering up of the "once in the end of the world" sacrifice of Christ. It is also cannibalistic in that it becomes the actual body and blood of Christ (transubstantiation) when consumed (they say). This is the trickery and devilish error of the Roman Church, whom thousands died as martyrs when opposing its errors ... "drunk w/ the blood of the saints" ... "committing fornication w/ the kings of the earth."

Sorry. You get an F in Catholic Theology, bopper. The Catholic Church has always taught there is only one sacrifice. What actually happens at the Consecration is that the veil of time is drawn aside and all those present enter into communion with Jesus as he offers himself up in that moment 2000 years ago. The Kingdom of Heaven is outside of the time.

You've been listening to propaganda.

bopper ago

I'll take the "propaganda" of the reformers over the apostate Roman church. If they taught there is only one sacrifice of Christ then they should stop teaching transubstantiation. "They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him." We would have to agree to disagree.

The Kingdom of Heaven is outside of the time.

I can agree w/ this.

@heyyouwho2 The early church fathers and disciples most certainly did not teach transubstantiation. The reformation was the purest point of Christian doctrinal teaching since the time of the apostles.

heyyouwho2 ago

True! If someone is going to disagree fine, but don’t be ignorant of what the Eucharist has been historically understood as. I ate up the misinformation at one time because of my evangelical formation, go earlier than the reformation and evangelical rhetoric and paradigm. Read the early church fathers. Go to the source documents and read of the teach disciples of the apostles themselves instead of someone else’s interpretation of scripture, then Disagree if you must

LOL...I have.

SYNCORSWIM ago

Explain Christ's command at the last supper then. He instructed as to take communion in remembrance of him. He wanted us to continually observe and remember his sacrifice. No I'm not catholic.

bopper ago

@SYNCORSWIM Yes I know, I totally agree. But Roman Catholic teaching on the subject is false, the wine and bread is simply symbolic, not real flesh and blood. Our church (Trump's mom's church) takes it very seriously, they do communion "seasons," twice a year. It's festive yet solemn. And it is blasphemy to "sacrifice" Christ over and over and over again. This is of the devil.
