The long and short of it is that Scientology actively discourages its members from going to the police, to the point of threatening them with "disconnection" where their families would be forced to stop talking to them. They also tell you it's your fault if you get raped. Meanwhile, they have full confessions of all of these things, both written and on video, and never turn them over to the cops. Sick fuckers.
