My feeling and inside info on Paul Haggis is he used Scientology to do his dirty work and then also used their collusion to get out through threats of exposing them. But he used their services, to destroy his dirty deeds Dig on Haggis, I can't tell everything i know. Check out his daughter's art work for those of you that understand RA.
Very true but her blog about him was very revealing, insider stuff about how he steals ideas and then has others do the writing. Unfortunately, since her death, all those blags have disappeared
Her allegations might have been part of what Haggis has referred to many times in describing himself in various interviews over the years--that he's not a good person, that he's a selfish bastard and a deeply broken person, etc. He does volunteer that he never killed anyone.
What is it short of murder that's weighing on Haggis? I sense there's plenty more than his sister put forward, all without doubt shared with the Church of Scientology while gripping an E-meter--and all on record.
I think it's probably useful to compare his statements against the church with those of others who've left the fold and are coming forward...What things have others condemned the church for but he chosen NOT to? Research ongoing.
If anyone on commenting on this post starts noticing the long arm of Miscavige creeping into their lives, speak up. I can help you lay low South of the border, if need be. Hehe. Half-joking about the hideout, totally serious about miscavige. Watch yer backs. Watch the anon doc on netflix, and the “going clear” doc, if it’s still there.
I remember the ads for “dianeticsl” when they appeared on national TV. I was just a teen then, so I walked away with the impression that Hubbard was some kind of Dr. Phil style life coach. Later, I found him in the SCI-FI section of the library! How can a science fiction writer credibly create a religion? He can’t. Thetons and other such Scientology concepts are thoroughly fiction, not religion, so there is obviously another aspect to the give and take tha is attractive to the initiates of this religion. Greed. Vanity. Narcissism. Too bad for them. But now, in the age of Pizzagate, also too bad for their families, their minor children, and other child victims. L. Ron was a student of Crowley and a contemporary of Anton LaVey and Michael Aquino.
