it was trace amounts and came up negative on the follow up test so, possibly a contamination or, I dunno... i dont think it was high enough on the first test to even be measured, so even if it was there, it was maybe from a few days or a week prior, not the day of his death.
MDMA metabolizes relatively fast after binding to serotonin receptors. For someone with low body fat, it would likely last no more than 24 hours in the system.
