I live in France and voted for Le Pen because this kind of shit was absolutely foreseeable. Disgusting. People here vote for candidates they spend then the next 5 years bashing. Makes no sense.
Marie LePen won but they stole the election from her the EU Establishment stole it from her. After Brexit there was no way they were going to let France be ruled by a Nationalist Right Winger.
I think Le Pen lost because :
- She did a really really bad campaign, in many aspects
- People are brainwashed
- Her name "Le Pen" is associated to his father who is labeled racist and hateful (he's just a patriot, though, I like him a lot). The msm scared people.
Le Pen actually is not a right winger. Her societal policies move more and more to the left, and her social policies have always been leftist believes (helping working class, state regulation, etc.)
Macron is a social right winger (economy before anything else) and a societal left winger (lgbt rights, age of consent decrease, feminism, etc.)
Yeah but they have people over there convinced that anyone who says "I don't want a Muslim raping my daughter" is an insane right-wing Nazi racist who needs to be thrown into an asylum. It's almost like they WANT people to start to just have a "get used to it" attitude when it comes to frequent bombings and gang rape. Look at Sweden, they have bombings almost every single week, and their media won't even say who's doing the bombings, even though its the same demographic over and over again.
