Even if you have the full assets of the NSA you still cannot foresee everything - the biggest problem is not access to the data, but knowing which data to read. Much of what you have is useless knowledge until after the fact.

Q does seem to have all kinds of inside knowledge and advanced knowledge - but even Q seems to be having some difficulty in deciphering exactly what is there and what it all means. Real-time events change the interpretation of the data as more data is revealed - this can appear as inconsistency to a third party observer.

Part of the problem is this - if I say the word chair - you know what a chair is - you can see a chair in your mind - but the chair you see, and the chair I see, are not the same chair. There is always a percentage of the communication that is lost in exactly this manner.

In turn, this is a very legit reason for asking the Autists for help - sometimes others see patterns you have yet to see for yourself.
