I see tiny glimmers of hope, that some level of justice will finally be served on behalf of many victims, young and old, big and small. Sexually abusive behavior by people with power - in government and the entertainment industry - is being talked about daily. This is VERY different from just a couple of years ago. This kind of news is getting, and hopefully gaining more, traction in the media. For rating$ yes, but there’s some weird common ground happening, and people are listening.
Noted, much of the news in the forefront is about adult victims of sexual abuse, described with fuzzy lines, or adults who had interest in children, but claimed, they never crossed that line.
It’s possible that this newly-awakened interest in sexual “harassment” is a distraction, a preemptive caution, desensitization, anticipation, of the impending exposure of real and rampant child sexual abuse, committed by powerful people.
I’m done with setting my hopes high, but I’ll welcome the glimmers of hope I see. Like this OP. A story published TODAY, about a NEW lead in Madeline’s case. The search for the truth is hard to kill.
