I never thought I would see this day. I am an old geezer. We didn't have cell phones when I was in school.
I hit the net with Windows 3.1 and a 4K dialup modem. About the only thing on the internet really was AOL and homeade web pages. Everything took forever. When 56K modems came out
I remember thinking "it can't get any better than this, this 56K dialup is smokin..."
Once a few of us figured out we could make blogs we started spreading the word. At that time I was almost all alone in this except for when I would stumble across a blog written by somebody that understood. We wrote like crazy hoping that seekers would stumble across our blogs and maybe find a little puzzle piece that would give them clues to find other pieces. At the time that was about all I was expecting.
Today there are so many people talking about it that it makes everything I did seem worthwhile. Thousands of hours of toiling away wondering if anybody was understanding what I was laying down. It was lonely as hell too.
I never thought I would see this day when this knowledge was traveling at light speed to anybody that could understand it and that an entire, enormous, community of brilliant people would grow up around it.
That cat is out of the bag and it is not going back in. I can't tell you how good that makes me feel, sometimes to tears yall....
Thanx. I appreciate it. I have paid dearly for it. Back then there were not many of us and we were easy to spot and deal with. I got dealt with, harshly, very harshly.

Thank you for all you have done. It is sobering to know how long you've been on this heartbreaking work. Many of your comments make more sense now.

Platos Cave. The rabbit hole is the matrix. The object is to understand it well enough not to get stuck in it.
