We spoke a lot about Uranium One right here at v/pizzagate back a year ago, specifically about creepy Clinton BFF and major donor Frank Giustra and his "refugee crisis fund" Radcliffe Foundation. And in one of my threads the connection was made between Frank and Uranium One - Bill Clinton finagled Giustra's entre into Russian Uranium trading back in 2005 in Kazahkstan, later Giustra sold his UrAsia company to Uraniun One for like 30 billion. So while people are raising their eyebrows at the 145 million that went into the CF's coffers over the deal, it's small change compared to the BILLIONS more that changed hands. And you better believe the Clinton's got a cut.

Apparently the video is from a Kazakhstan official who was there when some of the deals were broked, and bribes were discussed - hope this is true.

And Frank Giustra was also implicated in PG. One big pizza party.

UpVoat for your work on this. Members like you keep all of us informed. Please post the link so we can take a look.

So the video is from the official who was actually there? Oh, this is getting good! Can't wait for the indictments to start being handed out. What is the count now? Last I saw, it was over 1,300.

There is also supposedly video of suitcases full of bribe money, and an as-yet-unnamed FBI source, someone who was high up in the lobby chain working for Cassidy and getting paid 50 grand a month by the Russian government, has this and more info. This dude also said he has proof that the FBI and Obama knew at the time that the bribery was happening.

Eggs, I agree with @Are_we__sure, hasn't the FBI informant been named?

Eggs-Vs-Bacon ago

Yes, I linked to the article, Sessions outed him (which is kinda weird but maybe it was to protect him?)

migratorypatterns ago

Yes!!!! This FBI informant is the one I'm super interested in!!!

So praying this isn't hype.

Are_we__sure ago

He's been named.

According to Peter Schweizer, author of Clinton Cash, there is a 2010 video smuggled out of a Kazakh prison by an official who was the former head of the atomic agency there. Hillary as SoS refused to give Kazakhstan certain concessions until they handled over a chunk of uranium interests to Frank Giustra, which they did, and a month later we see $30 million to the Clinton Foundation. But that's only a small part of it of course.

Remember when Investigative Journalist earned awards the old fashioned way? I can dream, can't I? Mentioning Peter Schweizer is more than an upvoat. Hat tip.

Peter Schweizer wrote a book that had to be immediately corrected upon publication and he was forced to admit he couldn't prove anything about Uranium One. He admitted he had no evidence of quid pro quo. Every factchecker who has come along since has indicated how misleading his account of Uranium One was.

The supposed witness who claims to know about Uranium One has been identified. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-clinton-informant-exclusive/exclusive-secret-witness-in-senate-clinton-probe-is-ex-lobbyist-for-russian-firm-idUSKBN1DG1SB

It's William D. Campbell, a lobbyist. His lawyer "did not say what Campbell would reveal regarding any alleged wrongdoing by Clinton."

Some people who know Campbell are skeptical that he can shed much light on Uranium One. Two law enforcement officials with direct involvement in the Rosatom bribery case in which Campbell was an informant said they had no recollection or record of him mentioning the deal during their repeated interviews with him.

Also, although both Uranium One and the bribery cases involved Rosatom, the two cases involved different business units, executives and allegations, with little other apparent overlap, Reuters found in a review of the court records of the bribery case.

Campbell countered those who dismiss his knowledge of the Uranium One deal. “I have worked with the Justice Department undercover for several years, and documentation relating to Uranium One and political influence does exist and I have it,” Campbell said. He declined to give details of those documents.

The Justice Department was planning on using Campbell as a wtiness, but then back away. Because Campbell might not have been the victim he claimed to be.

The Justice Department had also initially charged Mikerin with extorting kickbacks from Campbell after hiring him as a $50,000-a-month lobbyist.

Prosecutors alleged Mikerin had demanded Campbell pay between one-third and half of that money back to him each month under threat of losing the contract and veiled warnings of violence from the Russians. The demand prompted Campbell to turn to the FBI in 2010, which gave its blessing for him to remain part of the scheme.

Federal prosecutors were ready to use Campbell as a star witness against Mikerin, but they backed away after defense attorneys raised questions about Campbell’s credibility and whether he was a victim or had “entered into a business arrangement with eyes wide open,” according to court records.

....

Prosecutors dropped the extortion charges against Mikerin and never mentioned Campbell again in any charging documents.
