Hahaha, not assuming everyone's an idiot at all lol. I've just met a few people personally, who want to discuss their theories with me and I want to discuss my theories with them.

I've met people who are all over it but fail to explain it to me let alone themselves, falling back to(essentially), "The government has lied about x/y/z, who says they wouldn't lie about the shape of the Earth?", which isn't necessarily untrue, but, it's not proof by any stretch.

On the flip side, I've met people who emphatically deny Flat Earth on all counts - without ever bothering to explore the concept/subject themselves, simply calling Flat Earthers, "Crazy", while then ignoring absolutely everything that person has ever said/done, or will ever say/do...

That said, I prefer to save that particular subject of conversation, for when I eventually get to catch up with an old buddy of mine, who has decades of experience over me.
