Anyone seen the new Economist cover? https://ukshop.economist.com/products/the-world-in-2018 I think it is interesting. if the icons arranged in chronological order , we can see in the first line, a child icon, then statue of liberty, then Trump (pictured with very specific facial expression - like he is blowing air with his lips (storm?))

This is what I see at first glance first row:

sun peaking out behind a rainstorm cloud - relates to 'calm before the storm' storm ?

pink cat with bow tie - relates to women's march with pink eared knitted hats?

green camera on tripod - Hollywood?

pink kid's face (girl?)

white statue of liberty with detached flame?

Donald Trump with 'ooh' shaped mouth

green smiley face

blue flag with incomplete circle of stars - disunity in EU https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circle_of_stars

A circle of stars often represents unity, solidarity and harmony in flags,[1] seals[2] and signs, and is also seen in iconographic motifs related to the Woman of the Apocalypse as well as in Baroque allegoric art that sometimes depicts the Crown of Immortality.

The European flag consists of 12 golden stars in a circle on a blue background. The stars symbolise the ideals of unity, solidarity and harmony among the peoples of Europe.[7] The number of stars has nothing to do with the number of member countries, though the circle is a symbol of unity.

pink person with walking cane (?) and (hat) ? and no feet, walking left.
