In this scene from the movie, Travis ( DeNiro ) and Iris ( Foster ) are talking about prostitution, but they're really talking about pedophilia. He calls her 'a little piece of chicken'. The word 'PIZZA' over his right shoulder and the Monarch butterfly over her left shoulder were clearly and purposefully included in the scene.

In this later scene, Travis buys guns from a gun dealer and damn if it doesn't have shades of Steven Paddock all over it. There is even a mention of methamphetamine and other drugs because the guy does that, too. And yes, that is the World Trade Center in the background. That means they drove all the way over to Jersey to make sure it was included.

The foreshadowing in this entire movie now viewed through the lens of a year of Pizzagate, is pretty stunning IMHO.
