Judge Roy Moore announced that he plans on suing WaPo over the hit pieces. Summarization: After they ran fake articles on him taking a one million dollar salary from his foundation, and after it was proven to be untrue, they then ran the articles of alleged sexual misconduct with minors.
If he does follow through, this will be the biggest tell that he's telling the truth. NOBODY wants to go to court ... NOBODY. Especially go up against a faux media giant with deep pockets. It means the reporter will have to testify in court though. And so will his women accusers. IF there is that tape of bribery out there, it can be introduced as evidence. I'm thinking there has to be some pretty strong evidence for him to go this route. Usually, you just talk your stance out in the press.
He's a judge and he should know what the hell proof of collusion, etc. there is. Hopefully, there'll be enough evidence and WaPo will suffer another black eye. And he should be able to collect some hefty damages which will be nice.

“Shortly after becoming the Republican nominee for the United States Senate, the Washington Post published an article attacking me, my wife, my Foundation for Moral Law in Montgomery, Alabama, on my salary,” Moore announced to a crowd of about 100 supporters at the Huntsville Christian Academy:
They said I took over a million dollars. There were not a million dollars. I wish I had a million dollars. In fact, I didn’t take the money they awarded me for a salary because I had my own recognition and opted to embrace that salary myself and not take anything from the foundation. So my salary collection wasn’t so much. Over eight years it would have been about $87,000 a year—so I had to take a note and a mortgage for the rest of it. But I never got the money. So, the Washington Post finally realized this after they published an article saying my wife and I got a million dollars, saying, “you didn’t pay taxes for what you didn’t get.”
The audience laughed before Moore continued.
“So I was wondering where they got that idea—they talked about control of the money, we didn’t have control of the money,” Moore said. “Anyway, to make a long story short, they kind of failed. So about 30 days before the general election, just the other day, the Washington Post published another attack on my character and reputation because they are desperate to stop my political campaign. These attacks said I was with a minor child and are false and untrue—and for which they will be sued.”
It's so funny, but that stupid salary item was what some crazy shill kept posting -- spamming my threads with that nonsense even after it's proven to be fake news!

Hey Roy- you talking fake news here?

A man's life is being destroyed. That really is not amusing. If he's guilty, let the chips fall where they may, but if he's not, it really is no joking manner.

Agreed. If he is being falsely accused then the accusers should stand trial. Sadly there's probably no way to prove what happened. That said he claims he DID date teens with the mom's permission. Mom needs to come forward and explain what the HELL she was thinking, and Moore should step down whether he touched the girls or not in my opinion. That is not the moral conduct of a leader.

He should step down for something legal?
Interesting .... yeah, no. Drinking Haitian orphan's blood maybe.

Should step down because he is not fit to be a leader. Sets himself up to be a morally upright man and isn't one. Represents the Christian right?! BARF. What a hypocrite. If he has any love for Jesus he would step down.

I swear to The Lord, I have never ever blocked so many people in one day.
I wish I knew what triggered all this pushback because, I not only would have said it sooner, I'd repeat it -- DAILY!!!

I'm not triggered, I just (respectfully) disagree. ☺
