" During the day, it's a playground for the kids, and during the night, it's a playground for adults. Ping-pong is universal in that respect"
"My favorite is the collage of pictures at the front of the bar. I was sort of there at the beginning, and a lot of those faces used to pop up. There's one girl — she's about 10 or 11 in the picture, and she came in, like, six months ago, and she's 16 or 17 now"

Im not the sharpest crayon when it comes to math but "There's one girl — she's about 10 or 11 in the picture, and she came in, like, six months ago, and she's 16 or 17 now" does'nt add up to me, she came in 6 mos ago , now 16, so she 1st came in at 15.5 yrs old but the painting is of her at 10 ot 11, what the proverbial f?ck.

He saw her the first time six months before the interview was held, a now 16 or 17 y. old girl.
He knew her photograph though, which shows a girl aged 10 or 11.
Does this makes more sense? ;-)

Exactly! He's saying she's 16 now and that he last saw her about 6 months ago but she started coming in when she was 11. Nothing fishy here.
