We can suspect that the multiple deaths of people associated with that movie could be the silencing of witnesses.
It's continually spun as a 'curse'.
We now know better. They make it a curse. Paul walker dies in exact red Porsche that he was gifted by the Skull & Bonesmen in the 2000 movie Skulls!
