Many say the the statue made by Louise Bourgeois could represent Jeffrey Dahmer. However, the statue was named (Arch of Hysteria) by Louise Bourgeois in 1993. I found Greek Mythology information, and a act of it taking place, along with a different but, similar statue made in 1993 by Louise Bourgeois.

Are you claiming there is a sculpture called Sexual Hysteria?

Many say the the statue made by Louise Bourgeois could represent Jeffrey Dahmer.

And those people are wrong. It has nothing to do with Dahmer. I have debunked this many times.

She did a series of arches of hysteria and her first work on this dates to 1989

This is years before Dahmer was arrested. And there's no evidence that the Dahmer crime scene photos were available to the public at the time of his trial. The earliest example we have of the photo of that Dahmer victim a textbook on murder from 1996. So her work on the Arches began years before anybody heard of Jeffrey Dahmer and the specific The Arch of Hysteria piece owned by Tony Podesta was finished years before that Dahmer picture was available.

Also are you claiming that childbirth is obscene or objectionable in some way?

Oh, so we had it backwards. Bourgeois wasn't a fan of Dahmer, he was a fan of hers. Thanks for clearing that up.

Um, do you think she was getting a lot of press coverage back then? Did the local newscast have contemporary sculpture section? Do you think Jeffrey Dahmer subscribed to Artforum?
