Let me quote a youtube comment 'this guy is just plain full of shit''....Halloween, is an old Celtic Druid Irish pagan festival, that's it!! Samhain is a Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest season, pray for Spring Season, have a fire for the Souls and Spirits and Dead and mark the beginning of winter or the "darker half" of the year waiting for Spring Time. There is no 'Satanism' because Satan or Jesus or whatever did not exist...this was before the times of Jesus, before Christianity. Irish originally carved Turnips not Pumpkins, those foods are from Central and South America. When Irish immigrants took their customs to America this feast given to honour the dead marking the end of Summer or 'Halloween' came with them and it became commercialized, selling devil costumes, Pumpkins whatever, it was an old pagan holiday honoring the dead and praying for spring.

Its a harmless holiday for most and a time to do extreme evil for a few.

So true and memorably phrased!

he forgot to mention that the Druids did human sacrifices

As a matter of fact, The Bohemian Grove and the Druids have a lot in common

What were these "sanctified" or sacred places in which the Druids assembled? First and most important they were sacred groves of trees, especially oak trees. The name Druid means, "knowing the oak tree" in Caelic. It was within these groves that most assemblies and religious ceremonies occurred

Ran into this stuff researching the history of the Places some of my family came from

Thanks for the link! A fellow Celt? If you've seen the wonderful True Detective series the oak tree is part of the game. Old families with their special old oak trees. Shudder.

Cornish on Fathers side

here's another article ....http://www.historic-uk.com/HistoryUK/HistoryofWales/Druids/

Druid women were also considered equal to men in many respects, unusual for an ancient community. They could take part in wars and even divorce their husbands

In the 1st century AD, Druids were facing oppression from the Romans. Indeed, Tiberius banned Druidism because of the supposed human sacrifices

the Triscale was a symbol involving 3 lines coming together to form a circle. Circles were key to many Druid beliefs; the circle of life, the seasons, light and darkness

It would surprise many to learn that Winston Churchill was supposed to be a Druid!

been looking at ties between Druidism and the Khazars

another interesting article....Druidism, Christianity, and Khazars

seems all past branches on both sides of my families have some ties to either Druidism and/or Khazers

I haven't even started on my Gypsy Grandma lol freaky stuff

Both sides Negative blood, am sure that fits in somewhere

been trying to put something together on this as it applies to royal family, but keep getting sidetracked

This stuff is very interesting

Yeah...one youtube comment and his story is fabricated. Ever heard of cultural appropriation?
