I work in psychological research and just to say this isn't a particularly reputable journal, it's got an impact factor of 1.9 and is ranked 28th out of all journals in the area of social psychology. Personally I think questioning the narrative we're spoonfed by the media (now proven biased beyond doubt thanks to Wikileaks) is a sign of superior intellect 🙂

Most everything we are presented with is massaged somehow to create a fear-reaction. We have been packaged into easy-to-manipulate fear-based right-left boxes so that the manipulator can scream "boo" and cause society to move certain ways. This prevents us from looking up and down. FOX is the originator of this format going back to the beginning of the 1990s and, coincidently, FOX News is the network that emerged from 9/11, a seemingly successful mass-trauma event. Trauma being the catalyst event in the programming of split personalities. I can't say I understand what is going on but I've been paying attention to the slow frog boiling of American society since 1981.

this isn't a particularly reputable journal...

If that study is a par for the course of what they publish, I can see why...

Not my line of work, but it does seem like a lot of the top dogs display a number of peychopathic traits, HRC being a prime example https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychopathy_Checklist

I think you're correct: kakistocracy.

Mad_As_Hell ago

I’ve seen that term mentioned a lot but never went to the trouble of looking it up. Sums the whole thing up nicely (sadly enough), thanks for expanding my vocabulary 🙂

Anytime :)

For those who do not know, kakistocracy is defined as "a system of government which is run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kakistocracy

Thanks for tickling my boner, Mr. Psychologist. Just what I needed.

Maybe you got a boner from a Mrs. 🙄

The_Savant ago

You right, it's just the idea of a man tickling my boner is more amusing to me.

Oh ok. Well my recommendation would be that you just keep thinking it's a Mr then 🤓
