I don't know if his take on Sweden is right. I had an American friend move to Sweden with his Swedish wife because neither of them could find good jobs here, and their children's American college tuitions were paid by Sweden (kids moved back too in the end), they all got high paying jobs.
I recently watched a youtube video made by Swedes who had left their country because it had become so repressive that it was an impossible place to live. Yes jobs and benefits are available, but only to those who strictly follow the party line. Dissent of any type is not tolerated. Even a politically incorrect comment on social media results in not only loss of job, but loss of entire career, as unions and companies and even private citizens dare not assist the politically incorrect person for fear of joining him/her on the untouchables list. This sounds dangerously close to the repressive policies of China, where the mobile execution vans whir through the cities daily, and practitioners of the now forbidden philosophy/religion Falun Gong has cost a few million Chinese their lives in the torture camps recently. I like the theory of Socialism. It sounds good, and looks good on paper. But unfortunately in practice it never works, is always corrupt, and always results in mass murder of innocent citizens. From all appearances it appears that Sweden is on that path, and is only a step or two behind the Chinese in their practices.
Sweden and many other Western European countries are no longer able to protect children of either sex nor adult women who are getting raped. Sweden has recently earned the unfortunate title of the highest incidence of rape of any country in the world. Their police force is completely overwhelmed and overpowered. Laws are way too lenient.
Tourism to Western Europe overall has taken a major, major hit economically. It's now against the law to publish the truth of why or you will be accused of being racist. One must go on anonymous internet forums to find out what's really going on. Recently an annual celebration of British War Dead was cancelled due to the lack of money. Was the real actual reason security concerns?
I think that encouraging that mass immigration is a separate issue from socialism, unless the premise was that these immigrants would pay INTO and support the system and not take from it. The violence and rape is yet another issue when a country is not particular where their work force is coming from.
Obviously what is going on is not sustainable. If I were in Europe I'd seriously think about dressing my kids in clothes made of bacon.
Someone mentioned socialism always turns corrupt. It is not Socialism that is corrupt it is the people running it that are corrupt. The concept is good the leaders are usually pocketing the money and favoring their friends and relatives. There is usually plenty of money to go around they are pilfering it.

Maybe people who actually live in Sweden can comment on Wohl's claims.
