This is the relevant video: Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes 2016

There are several parts where he hinted at Hollywood's degeneracy, and while there is a potential for confirmation bias on my part, there seems to be too many hints to be mere coincidences. I list the interesting parts of the video below:

• (00:30) calling them "disgusting pill-popping sexually deviant scum"

• (02:25) talking about being jacked off by an old man

• (03:37) showing (by eliciting great laughter) that golden globes are acquired through bribing

• (04:18) mentioning Polanski's pedophilia, surprising the audience and spurring nervous laughter accompanied by Maggie Gyllenhaal's facial expression of something along the lines of "you're stepping into deep water"

• (12:50) introducing Mel Gibson who is /ourguy/, and hugging him, making Mel the only person he actually greeted on that stage

• (14:35) saying goodbye by saying "From myself and Mel Gibson, shalom!"

He is of course saying all of the things jokingly, so it is very possible that I am reading too much into it.
