I'm not familiar with this Twitter account, but a screengrab is posted that says:

  1. Apple maintained there was no hack to iCloud
  2. That the photos were the result of an "MAJOR HOLLYWOOD FIGURE" being broken into.
  3. That the photos were taken by this self-same MAJOR HOLLYWOOD FIGURE during the audition process

It's a theory, but one that could be true given what we know.

And before I forget here's the denial from Apple that its servers were hacked:

NSA guys did the Fappening they did it for laughs they have ultra access to every phone in the world. It was probably a couple guys who did it on their lunch hour for fun. Apple was being honest when they said they couldn't find any cloud hack. NSA gets in and out without leaving any tracks behind. The photos were taken from dozens of accounts all in under one hour.

I can't see it being from Weinstein given that there were people that weren't actresses that were targeted, and the fact that there were plenty of pictures that were clearly between partners; Kate Upton and Justin Verlander, for example. Nope, not buying this one.

I don't know what sort of blackmail or freaky cheap thrills were going on. It's entirely possible that people were sending him things. Look at how many actresses have been set up by their boyfriends. Then there are the cases where no one was set up, the files were just stolen.

Doesn't negate anything.

Pretty much. It could very easily have happened. I mean, usually, predators this big want proof to show their friend. I can imagine he used this not only as proof for his friends that he bedded/raped another actress, but also as blackmail.
