He has been interviewed, and explained that he left Hollywood because he refused to sell his soul to the devil. Take that figuratively, or literally. I doubt that he would ever speak up, in specifics; because he's no angel, himself.

All I can say is that he was disgusted with the concept of having to to perform homosexual acts for the sake of getting a part.
