Didn't she also testify in a hearing of some sort describing what she witnessed? Some reason I thought it was this woman.

She testified before the 911 Commission but it was in closed session (wink). After which she was issued a gag order and prevented from speaking about the facts. She was able to get around that a couple of years later somehow when she was involved in a civil lawsuit. It was some legal technicality that required her testimony, and would override the gag order. I agree she is heroic.
