Maybe Damon and Crowe don't realize that this immediately makes them suspicious... as well as accomplices in aiding and abetting Weinstein's crimes.

Waxman’s report would have exposed the following: •A woman in London had been paid off after an “unwanted sexual encounter” with Weinstein and was terrified to speak because of her non-disclosure agreement.

THIS is a very important point of law ... NO one should be held to any gag rule which covers up crime. This should be true of situations like Weinstein, but also true of our own government or CIA covering up their crimes.

•The man who ran Miramax Italy, Fabrizio Lombardo, had no film experience and his real job was to cater to “Weinstein’s women needs, among other things,” including organizing Russian escorts.

We can begin to see how Bill Cosby could feel comfortable in Hollywood among so many other sexual abusers and those aiding them. It also rings a bell in regard to how Bill Clinton allegedly operated, using assistants to scout women for him and to approach them.

THIS is also why patriarchy so fears the rise of feminism .... In order to carry out these crimes against women and children it requires the oppression of women to control and to silence them.

Absolutely agree. perverts like Weinstein pay their victims off with the proviso they don't speak about what was done to them. Paying them off is an admission of guilt and they should be charged. Government should not be allowed to keep files like the JFK assassination secret for decades, nor put gag orders on whistleblowers.
