Exactly!

Now we know the reason they broke the half-story. They were hoping to do a puff piece about how the "old dinosaur" was only guilty of not keeping up with the times in making "clumsy" sexual advances. My guess is that they were hoping Weinstein's MO of buying off victims would work and the rest of this would be buried. Not so fast cuz it didn't work!

I'll bet they have some pretty pissed off people who want justice They've been waiting for a long time and this is an opportunity to say their piece about their victimization.

Can't wait!

Found out today that NYT has been sitting on this story since 2004. Writer said they gutted his story.
