Sorry if this angle has already been covered, but new here and still trying to figure out how to navigate. Anyway, regarding the email about "Chicago Hot Dog Friday" , that was sent May 14, 2009. I figured why not start with the obvious, why did Obama buy 65k in hot dogs from chicago. Was he having some kind of event? Well, went to the Obama White House Archives and to see what his schedule looked like that day/week and of course, the archives stopped about 1 year after this email. The farthest it goes back is July 12, 2010. Not much of an archive if you ask me. Question is, what was Obama doing that day/week?

Maybe he was having some kind of fundraiser or something, who knows, but this should not be hard to find out, right?

In your post, you mention that the date the email was sent coincidentally lines up with the same date as a gap on Wikipedia (wow that means a lot), and was also a Thursday. I am just trying to understand what the relevance of this is to the 'supposed' event 'Chicago Hot Dog Friday'?
This piece of information means little to nothing at all, and it is even mentioned on the Wikipedia page of a celebration on the Friday - 'May 15 – The World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies are honored at the White House by President Obama.'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAh2VIRqGpM - Here is the video of the day. Seems to be down on the White House archives. I would say this e-mail is probably as irrelevant as when it was originally discovered, and that your time and effort regarding this investigation would be better put to use following up on something that is of validity.

Agreed, that was a dead end for me after further investigation.
