Putt broke the site yesterday while trying to port it to the new, lower-cost hosting setup. I didn't know about it until I got on late last night. Lots of info in v/announcements. Always check there or v/voatdev for the latest info on situations like this. They don't tell us mods anything in advance; the only way we know what's going on is by checking those two subs.

That stratfor email thread containing many names/potential leads was posted (and deleted) multiple times as well as the stratfor meeting in 55 minutes post. Lots of stratfor movement prior to the las vegas shooting...just saying.

I know the exact stratfor email as well as the identity of the parties involved and their alluding to boston bomb*ing.....if posted again will the mods take down Voat again?

Interesting because this morning I went back re-read all of David McCullar's emails, all the old Voat posts of this kid, Facebook postings, etc. There is something there. From the very first postings last year, I have had an eerie feeling about family. I noted today in some of David's postings, he speaks about his sister in treatment. Do you think both these kids were MK'ed? What happen to his mother? How did she died? What I do know for sure is this boy was absolutely devasted by the death of his mother. He posts pics of his mother when he was young. Several of them. This Gray guy is he CIA? David says a lot about things that he probably wouldn't ordinarily know, i.e., 9/11, WTC, Pentagon, pineal glands. Something more is here.

At the risk of sounding thick, what's 'handshake'?

Are_we_sure ago

The web is switching to secure browsing. See the https in this pages url? This is different from regular http in that the browser and the site perform a security check before loading the page. This check is known has a handshake. Look up ssl or https if you want the technical details.

@kidavenger It's when the Mac key makes love to the modem.

I'm not a computer scientists, but my understanding of a "handshake" in the computer world is when the end user (in this case, you) requests access to a site (by either clicking on a link in a page or entering a URL into the browser search bar), it goes through cyberspace until it reaches the destination site. Then it has to coordinate with the destination page to load the information into your browser window. Usually, it's a seamless process. But if there is a problem and the two parts don't coordinate properly for some reason, the handshake won't occur and there will be an error or a delay.

Thank you. Don't quite get how my question merited a downvoat but hey ho
