According to the Washington Post, from 1984 to 1994, the University of Nebraska-Omaha printed textbooks for Afghan schoolchildren under the auspices of USAID, widely considered a front for CIA covert operations. These textbooks promoted militant Islam and hatred of the Soviets, inspiring children to join the CIA-sponsored war against the USSR. The CIA's arming of these Islamist groups against the Soviets (known as Operation Cyclone) led to the Taliban and al-Qaeda.
From 1977 to 1989 (which includes the whole duration of Operation Cyclone), the president of the University of Nebraska system was Ronald Roskens. He was an associate of Lawrence E. King, the CIA-connected pedophilic pimp behind the Franklin scandal, and was forced out in 1989 due to child molestation accusations against him. (See p.177 of John DeCamp's book.) In 1990, George H.W. Bush (also implicated in Franklin) appointed Roskens as the director of USAID.
Do you think Roskens, given his affiliation with the University of Nebraska, a CIA-run child sex ring, and USAID, had something to do with the University of Nebraska/USAID effort to radicalize Afghan children? I certainly do.

Yeah, well I was convinced too even before I got to the end of your post. Larry King was CIA.

Wow! That blows me away about King. CIA.

Me too. But we have been surprised before about those that are involved with the CIA. There are so many I believe that are willing to accept their offers.
