Many were wondering if it would be included in the new movie version (it's not.) Here's what Stephen had to say:
"Stephen King, for his part, seem to find the whole affair mildly intriguing. In a new statement to Vulture, he says, "I'd just add that it's fascinating to me that there has been so much comment about that single sex scene and so little about the multiple child murders. That must mean something, but I'm not sure what."
Here's what Stephen has said about it in the past....
".....The sexual act connected childhood and adulthood. It's another version of the glass tunnel that connects the children's library and the adult library. Times have changed since I wrote that scene and there is now more sensitivity to those issues.
The bigger question is: WHY INCLUDE IT AT ALL IN THE BOOK VERSION!

I read the book.
King, not sure why he would think it natural or common for ANY 11 year old to have sex. Its not. nor should it be.

If a kid is already going through puberty a little early its natural. It just is accepted in our society but what do you think happened in the cave man days. I'm not defending this gay Stephen king book that sounds really fucked up, but sex is natural as soon as animals hit puberty. And again I'm not advocating it or anything, just stating the fact that it is natural. Probably not the orgy thing though.

maybe, but I was 11 once and boys were curious (I'm a girl) but none of them would have even known to have sex, we were all pretty innocent about that stuff.

That is true i aroused by women when I was younger than 11 but didn't really know how it work. And once again I can't stress enough that I'm not actually advocating it or anything.
